The Change to Heart and Head Rising

As you may have noticed, my website has a new name. I wanted to take a few minutes and explain why I am changing things up.

First, Heart and Head Homestead isn't going anywhere. I will still be sharing all about homesteading life on the blog, as well as moving to Ireland and everything that goes into setting up Heart and Head Homestead on our new property. Of course, you're still going to see all of our new Irish adventure.

Secondly, I briefly introduced Heart and Head Herbal on Instagram, but will be expanding Heart and Head Herbal to begin to offer you plant medicine, skin care, and tea blends here, in addition to the blog.

Third, I am beginning to work on some new offerings, which I am REALLY excited about. They will be focused on mindful living practices and tools that will help you live a more intentional life for yourself.

This is why I changed the name to Heart and Head Rising. I want this space to be a culmination of all my passions and projects, rather than to focus on just the homesteading aspect.

The word Rising means to be developing, emerging, ascending, or advancing. In astrology, our Rising Sign is the way that we present ourselves to the world. It's what the world sees before they get to know you as a whole, complex, beautiful being. To me, the Heart represents love and the Head represents intention. So together, Heart and Head Rising represents my love and intention growing upwards to encompass all of my passions in one place.

I always want to be authentic and share myself with you fully. That is why I knew I needed to pivot from focusing on just one part of who I am, to sharing with you all the parts that make me, me. I can't wait to share with you all of my passions. From yoga, to homesteading, to plant medicine and skin care, to nature, to parenting, to mindful living practices and tools, to conscious partnership, to spirituality, get ready to get to know me fully.

I can't wait for all the exciting things to come! Thank you for being here and for supporting me on this journey.
